Job summary

FullStack is seeking a GCP DevOps Engineer to join our remote-first team. You will work with US clients on project-based development, integrating into client teams and delivering reliable cloud-native deployments.

You will apply Terraform IaC, Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines to production workloads, with emphasis on scalable, observable infrastructure and strong English communication in Agile/Scrum settings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Software Engineering/DevOps experience.
• GCP production experience with Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud SQL and GKE.
• Terraform IaC used to provision cloud infra.
• Docker and Kubernetes experience in production.
• CI/CD pipelines design and maintenance for cloud-native apps.
• English proficiency required and Agile/Scrum experience.

Responsibilities

• Integrate directly into the client’s team and work with designers and engineers daily.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native apps.
• Manage GCP services and IaC using Terraform.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability (Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Ensure scalable, cost-efficient infrastructure and on-time delivery.

The Opportunity

Join our talent network and connect with U.S. clients for flexible, project-based development work as an Agentic GCP DevOps Engineer.

• You will integrate directly into our client's team and work alongside their existing designers and engineers on a daily basis.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional Software Engineering / DevOps experience.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering workflows and agentic AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) integrated into daily development routines.
• Advanced English is required.
• Successful completion of a four-year college degree is required.
• Production experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically managing services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud SQL, and GKE.
• Proven track record of designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native applications in production environments.
• Hands-on Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) experience using Terraform or Deployment Manager to provision and manage cloud infrastructure.
• Production experience with containerization and orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
• Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using tools such as Google Cloud Observability (Stackdriver), Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Demonstrated experience optimizing GCP infrastructure for scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Ability to work through new and difficult issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
• Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of applications.
• Forensic attention to detail.
• A positive mindset and a can-do attitude.
• Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams.
• Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems.
