Qualificações

• Fully qualified accountant with active CRC required.

Base pay range

A very exciting Accounting Supervisor position has just become available at a fast-growing Food Manufacturing company focused on bakery based in Itaquaquecetuba, São Paulo. You would become a very important member of the finance team managing the accounting operations for Brasil.

The primary responsibilities of the Accounting Supervisor will be:

Periodic Financial Analysis and Reporting

• Perform the monthly close process for Brasil, including preparation of schedules, journals, and analytical review.
• Balance sheet reconciliation including schedules for Assets, Payroll, Tax, among others.
• Statutory and Management reporting for Brasil.
• Review Consumption and Income Tax returns before submission by local accountants.
• Monthly bank reconciliations and revaluations.
• Assist in yearly audit queries with external auditors.

Accounts Payable

• Process AP invoices as received.
• Generate weekly pay runs and communicate with suppliers on queries.
• Update Cash Flow with approved pay runs.

Audit & Compliance

• Ensure reporting and compliance with regulatory and Tax authorities.
• Prepare statutory documents as necessary.
• Lead local audits and liaise with auditors.
• Prepare audit deliverables and assist in Group audits.

Cashflow Reporting

• Maintain and improve cash flow for relevant entities.
• Contribute to delivering Brasil Cash Flash on the first working day of month-end.

Other Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager on projects and tasks.
• Provide reports and analysis to support teams.
• Collaborate with local management and business units.
• Partner with the global finance team and wider business.
• Work closely with the BPO.

Minimum Requirements:

• Fully qualified accountant in Brasil with an active CRC.
• Advanced English and/or Spanish proficiency.
• Outstanding analytical skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines, e.g., month-end closing.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Self-motivated with excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in the Food Industry or Production companies.
• Previous experience handling accounting and reporting within Brasil.
• Knowledge of SAP Business 1 is highly beneficial.
