Location: This is a hybrid role based in our Sao Paolo, Brazil office twice per week.

Position Summary:

We have the ideal opportunity for an Account Executive who will develop and execute campaigns to generate and drive new business and maintain and develop relationships in several strategic accounts.

The Account Executive is responsible for selling enterprise-level solutions to support project delivery and operations and management—as well as enterprise-level commercial offerings—into assigned accounts. The role also involves acting as the primary contact within specified strategic accounts to determine the sales strategy and negotiate and implement approved contracts. This role requires fluency in English and Brazilian Portuguese, with Spanish preferred.

Your Day-to-Day:

  1. Prospect and close new business opportunities within assigned accounts using Account Management Planning and Strategic Selling.
  2. Meet with assigned end-users to develop and maintain relationships at various levels and set up product demonstrations to meet revenue goals.
  3. Develop essential and effective relationships with Key Executives within assigned accounts by translating customer challenges and opportunities into unique business value.
  4. Create effective proposals that link our solution to the user’s business objectives and effectively negotiate customer agreements.
  5. Develop solid Account Business plans and ensure their execution by all parties, including aligning and influencing all relevant parties within the account(s) and Bentley organization.
  6. Follow the Bentley Sales Methodology and document the sales process.
  7. Prepare sales reports on various aspects of sales activities in the territory assigned, including forecasts, sales data, etc.
  8. Participate in sales events such as trade shows, product demonstration seminars, user-specific technical demonstrations, etc.
  9. Maintain a high level of knowledge of the company's products and services and of the industry workflows, business drivers, and major players.

This is a full-time role expected to work 40 hours per week.

Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements). The role requires communicating with managers, peers, and other company colleagues in person (on occasion) and using Microsoft Teams chat, calling, and meeting functions.

This role requires 25% travel within Brazil.

What You Bring to The Team:

  1. Fluency in English and Brazilian Portuguese. Spanish is a plus.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of proven experience selling software solutions in the Oil & Gas and Mining sectors.
  3. An exceptional track record of quarterly and annual over-quota performances.
  4. Knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management and CMCS solutions, Engineering and BIM is required.
  5. Referenceable experience and knowledge of operating at an executive level with accounts.
  6. PC literacy with appropriate MS Office applications proficiency.
  7. Excellent written and oral communication and strong presentation skills.
  8. A passion for hitting targets.
  9. Proficiency with company products portfolio at a business level.
  10. Very well disciplined and organized with a high level of personal integrity.
