A PRIORI EXCELÊNCIA EM RECURSOS HUMANOS seeks an experienced automotive steering systems engineer to drive development across regional and global platforms. You will define requirements, craft solutions, and lead verification strategies throughout the lifecycle.

Responsibilities include root cause analysis, DFMEA, supplier alignment, and collaboration with global teams to advance steering technology and future product roadmaps.

Qualificações

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience in the development of steering systems within the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle dynamics, steering technologies, and system integration.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and suppliers.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the development and application of steering systems for regional and global commercial vehicle platforms.
• Define system requirements, technical solutions, and verification & validation strategies throughout the product lifecycle.
• Drive technical problem solving, root cause investigations, DFMEA activities, and product quality improvements.
• Lead supplier development and technical alignment activities to ensure robust and competitive solutions.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams across multiple functions and locations.
• Contribute to steering technology roadmaps and future product strategies.
• Coach and support colleagues by actively sharing knowledge and promoting engineering excellence.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or a related field;
• Extensive experience in the development of steering systems within the automotive industry;
• Strong knowledge of vehicle dynamics, steering technologies, and system integration;
• Proven experience leading complex technical activities involving cross-functional teams and suppliers;
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken;

Nice to have

• Experience with electrohydraulic steering systems, ADAS, or driver assistance technologies;
• Knowledge of Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and safety-critical system development;
• Experience with verification & validation methodologies and vehicle testing;
• Familiarity with CAN communication and vehicle measurement or diagnostic tools.
