Job summary

RAFFLES in Manama is seeking an in-room dining waiter to deliver personalized F&B service within luxury villas and hotel suites. You will greet guests, present menus, make recommendations, and ensure timely delivery with impeccable presentation.

The role requires 1–2 years in a 5-star environment, excellent English, ability to lift trays, and knowledge of menu ingredients and wine pairings. You will uphold HACCP and assist other outlets during busy periods, driving a buggy when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years experience as an In-Room Dining Waiter or F&B Server in a luxury setting.
• Excellent English communication; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to lift trays/trolleys and work outdoors in heat.
• Strong knowledge of menu ingredients, wine pairing, and upselling techniques.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of menu items, ingredients, garnishes, and preparation methods to assist guests with recommendations.
• Greet guests warmly and provide personalized in-room F&B service with attention to detail and timeliness.
• Set up, present, and serve meals with proper table settings, presentation, and portion control.

• Support other F&B outlets during busy periods; demonstrate flexibility and teamwork.
• Safely operate and drive a buggy for delivery/collection of in-villa orders across the property.
• Take responsibility for Destination Dining setups, including outdoor or special locations; create WOW experiences through personalization.

Set up, present, and serve meals according to departmental standards, ensuring proper table settings, presentation, and portion control. Respond to guest enquiries and requests promptly while actively promoting additional F&B services and identifying upselling opportunities. Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper organization of trolleys, workstations, equipment, and storage areas at all times. Follow food safety and HACCP standards rigorously to ensure guest safety and compliance. Handle the collection and breakdown of used dishes, trays, and trolleys efficiently and discreetly after each meal service. Report guest feedback, complaints, and irregularities to management and follow up as required to ensure guest satisfaction. Support other F&B outlets during busy periods as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork. Safely operate and drive a buggy for the timely delivery and collection of in-villa dining orders across the property, adhering to all safety and traffic regulations. Take full responsibility for Destination Dining setups, including outdoor or special location arrangements, and create memorable WOW Experiences for guests through personalized touches and exceptional service.
