Job summary

RCSI Medical University of Bahrain is seeking a Communications Coordinator to provide coordinated communications and promotional support for the Student Development and Wellbeing Department, ensuring students and staff are informed and engaged with the Department’s programmes and activities.

You will manage calendars, liaise with departments, maintain VLE and website content, create digital materials, and assist with events while upholding brand standards and professional presentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in marketing/communications/media or similar subject.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to different audiences.
• Strong digital and IT skills, including MS Office, VLE/CRM systems and digital channels.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate timely communications and promotional activities for the Department’s programmes, services, resources, events and initiatives.
• Develop and maintain an annual departmental communications and events calendar.
• Liaise with University departments and stakeholders for approvals, resources and support for communications and events.
• Manage the Department's presence across VLE, website, media boards, and social media.
• Prepare, write and distribute communications, announcements, and promotional materials.
• Support development and production of departmental publications and prints/digital resources.
• Organise media plans for post-event promotion and dissemination.
