Pramac, a Generac Company, is seeking a Purchasing Officer to support a Bahrain generator factory. You will convert approved requests into purchase orders, manage supplier communications, and close POs in ERP.

You will also assist sourcing, supplier onboarding, and compliance with procurement policies and ISO requirements. Key duties include creating POs, tracking deliveries, resolving issues, and coordinating with Finance for timely payments.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of purchasing experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Hands-on purchasing experience in an ERP system.
• Strong Excel and numerical skills.
• Working knowledge of Incoterms, RFQ and quotation comparison, and basic negotiation.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, spoken and written, to work with local and international suppliers.

Responsabilidades

• Receive purchase requests and ensure completeness before processing.
• Create POs in ERP and route for approval per authority matrix.
• Send POs to suppliers and obtain confirmations on price, quantity, delivery, terms.
• Coordinate inbound shipments and resolve delivery issues with suppliers and receiving team.
• Follow up with Finance on invoices and payments and close PO in ERP.
• Prepare RFQs, compare quotations, and recommend suppliers for raw materials, components, services, and tools.
• Onboard new suppliers and maintain supplier master data in ERP.
• Prepare monthly purchasing reports and ensure compliance with policies.
