Job summary

The Ritz-Carlton Bahrain is seeking a Kitchen Manager who will be the right hand of the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef, helping set and maintain the Gold Standards and ensure smooth operation of the department.

You will optimize materials and manpower, lead staff training, oversee menus and recipes, monitor quality and safety, conduct daily briefings, and drive guest satisfaction while upholding Ritz-Carlton Bahrain's high standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 3 years experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area.
• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 3 years experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Chef in supervising all kitchen staff.
• Plan menus and recipes for tasting and approval.
• Ensure quality and safety of ingredients and storage.
• Lead daily briefings and training sessions for kitchen teams.
• Plan weekly duty rosters and manage overtime.
