Job summary

Array is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Java) in Bahrain to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications for financial services clients. You will focus on scalability, low latency, and high throughput, while mentoring teammates and leading code reviews.

Required: 7+ years Java, strong Spring experience, REST/microservices, and cloud/container skills. Financial services exposure is a strong plus in a globally distributed team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on Java development in enterprise solutions.
• Strong expertise in core Java, multithreading, collections, and concurrency.
• Proven experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security).
• Solid understanding of RESTful API development, microservices architecture, and design patterns.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment.
• Preferred Financial Services Experience (trading, risk, payments) is a plus.

Responsibilities
