Job summary

JPMorganChase in Manama seeks an experienced Software Engineer III specialized in Automation Test to join the payments technology team. The role focuses on delivering secure, scalable automation solutions within an agile environment and SDLC-guided processes.

You will design, implement and maintain automated test suites, leverage enterprise tooling and contribute to code quality and delivery speed across complex projects. Strong collaboration with QA, development, and SMEs is expected.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
• 6+ years of applied experience in software development or testing.
• Experience designing, developing and executing automated tests.
• Experience with Oracle/RDBMS for testing and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and debugging with non-routine problem solving.
• Creates secure, high-quality production code and maintains testing algorithms.
• Automates tests using Cucumber, Cypress, Selenium or Playwright.
• Designs and maintains a test automation framework for scalable testing.
• Develops automated test cases and feature files and tracks automation status.
