Job summary

athGADLANG in Bahrain is seeking an Investment Manager to oversee client portfolios and implement investment strategies within regulatory guidelines. You will conduct research, monitor risk, and provide clear client reporting while coordinating with advisory and discretionary services.

The role requires deep market knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple portfolios under a Category 2 license. Bahrain-based, on-site role with client-facing responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10 years of relevant portfolio management experience.
• Proven track record managing client portfolios or funds in a regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of global and regional capital markets and investment products.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business; CFA/CAIA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage discretionary and/or advisory client portfolios in line with objectives and risk profiles.
• Construct and rebalance portfolios across asset classes in line with the firm’s process.
• Conduct investment research, fundamental analysis, and due diligence on securities and funds.
• Monitor portfolio performance, risk exposures, and attribution on an ongoing basis.
• Prepare investment reports, performance updates and market commentaries for clients.
• Ensure all advice is suitable and documented per CBB BC requirements.
• Support onboarding of new clients from an investment perspective.
• Stay informed on market developments and contribute to strategy refinement.
