Job summary

Grant Thornton Abdulaal is seeking a Senior Auditor to lead external audit engagements across diverse clients. You will plan, execute, and close audits while ensuring accuracy of financial statements and compliance with IFRS/GAAP.

You will develop client relationships, mentor junior staff, and contribute to business development. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success in this permanent role.

Qualifications

• CA/ACCA or related qualification.
• 2+ years of experience in audit & assurance.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and GAAP.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and manage multiple engagements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage external audit engagements, including planning, execution, and completion
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns or issues
• Review and analyze financial statements and audit reports for accuracy and completeness
• Identify and communicate any potential risks or issues to the audit team and clients
• Train and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in accounting and auditing standards
• Participate in business development activities, including networking and proposal writing
• Assist with other ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by senior management.
