Job summary

Connect 4 Aviation seeks an Aircraft Maintenance Shift Manager for Line or Base Maintenance in the Middle East. The role leads maintenance through the shift, coordinating engineers and technicians to ensure safe, efficient operations in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates bring 9+ years in maintenance with 3+ years in leadership, strong regulatory knowledge, and experience in airline/MRO settings. Senior responsibility, safety focus, and collaboration across departments are key.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9 years' experience within aircraft Line and/or Base Maintenance.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in supervisory or management role.
• Proven ability to lead engineers, mechanics and technicians.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures, regulatory requirements and airworthiness standards.
• Experience in an airline or MRO environment is highly desirable.
• EASA Part-66 equivalent licence background is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage aircraft maintenance activities throughout the assigned shift.
• Supervise teams of licensed engineers, mechanics and technicians.
• Allocate manpower and resources to meet operational needs.
• Ensure maintenance aligns with procedures, regulations and company standards.
• Monitor progress, ensure tasks meet timescales and quality.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Control, Planning, Quality and Engineering.
• Resolve defects, support troubleshooting and technical decisions.
• Maintain oversight of aircraft status and safety culture.
• Ensure smooth shift handovers and continuity of critical activities.
• Support AOG situations and maintenance documentation completeness.
