Job summary

Volantes Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Engineering Manager in Bahrain. You will lead the Engineering department covering CAMO, Technical Services, Airline Maintenance, Technical Records and the Technical Library, reporting to the Technical Director.

You will drive aircraft maintenance programmes, oversee records, and ensure compliance with Part M and other regulations while managing a diverse engineering team and coordinating with OEMs, MROs and vendors to keep the fleet safe,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering.
• 10+ years' aircraft maintenance experience.
• 5+ years' Technical Services / Engineering experience.
• EASA, FAA, BCAA or ICAO Part-66 licence preferred.
• Strong knowledge of airworthiness, maintenance planning and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Commercial awareness including cost and business performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage aircraft maintenance programmes in line with regulatory requirements.
• Lead reliability programmes including health monitoring and trend analysis.
• Coordinate aircraft induction, redelivery and lease returns.
• Oversee technical records updates and documentation.
• Support safety, quality and regulatory compliance initiatives.
• Manage team performance and development.
• Liaise with OEMs, MROs and vendors for technical support.
• Ensure On-Time Performance targets are met.
