Job summary

DHL Express is seeking a highly experienced Avionics Maintenance Specialist in Bahrain. The role involves supervising licensed engineers and technicians, certifying aircraft back to service, and maintaining strict standards of DRR and safety.

You will manage documentation, liaise with flight crews and management, and stay current with regulatory data and manufacturer bulletins. A senior, on-site posting in a dynamic international team awaits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years aircraft maintenance experience, excluding apprenticeship or basic training.
• Must be a licensed, certifying, and company-approved B2 Avionics engineer, preferably on the Boeing Aircraft.
• Must be able to communicate assertively, effectively and diplomatically with flight crew, dispatchers and management.
• Valid EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance License or ICAO Type 2 License, with endorsement in Boeing 767 aircraft.
• Have completed a minimum of 18 months in the current role.

Responsibilities

• Supervise engineers and maintenance mechanics and certify aircraft back to service.
• Maintain highest technical DRR while assessing aircraft serviceability factors.
• Ensure maintenance is performed to applicable data and standards.
• Input and manage aircraft Tech Log and Work Order information in the TRAX system.
• Keep up-to-date with regulations, service bulletins and safety publications.
