Job summary

DHL Express is seeking an experienced aircraft maintenance supervisor in Bahrain to carry out maintenance, repairs and alterations to company aircraft, ensuring safety and airworthiness.

You will supervise licensed engineers, release aircraft to service, manage parts, and maintain documentation while upholding regulatory compliance and continuous training. The role demands a 5+ year background, valid EASA Part 66 or ICAO Type 2 with Boeing 767 endorsement, and strong communication with crews.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' aircraft maintenance experience, excluding apprenticeship or basic training.
• Licensed certifying engineer on principal types operated; Boeing 767 endorsed.
• Valid EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance License or ICAO Type 2 License with endorsement for Boeing 767.
• Must communicate assertively and diplomatically with flight crew and ground staff.
• Completed a minimum of 18 months in the current role.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, repair, modifications and alterations to aircraft.
• Supervise licensed engineers and authorize release to service.
• Maintain safety and airworthiness standards while assessing serviceability of aircraft.
• Maintain and update Company IT assets (IPADs, onboard devices).
• Ensure proper documentation and reporting and continuity between shifts.
