Qualifications

Seasonal Executive Chef

Location: Dar Kulaib, Bahrain

We are currently hiring for a Seasonal Executive Chef to join our team at a luxurious resort in Dar Kulaib, Bahrain. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our resort during our busy season.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and create innovative menus based on guest preferences and seasonal ingredients
• Manage and train a team of kitchen staff including sous chefs, line cooks, and prep cooks
• Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality standards and presented in an appealing manner
• Monitor food inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, following all health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with other departments to create a memorable dining experience for guests
• Conduct regular meetings with kitchen staff to discuss menu changes, specials, and any other relevant information

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or resort setting
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
• Creativity and passion for creating unique dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients
• Excellent knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
• Ability to manage food costs while maintaining high-quality standards
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the kitchen
• Ability to work well under pressure during peak season
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred

Salary

This is a seasonal position with a salary of $1400 per month. Accommodation will be provided on-site.
