Job summary

Lead, train and manage kitchen staff, control costs, and ensure high standards of hygiene and safety in line with local regulations; diploma in Culinary Arts preferred.

Executive Chef - Bahrain

We are hiring an experienced Executive Chef to join our dynamic team in Manama, Bahrain. As the head of our culinary department, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations and creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Your creativity and passion for food will be key in developing and implementing new menus and dishes that showcase regional flavors and international influences.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the kitchen including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
• Train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
• Oversee inventory control, budgeting, and purchasing of food supplies
• Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety in accordance with local regulations
• Collaborate with management to develop new concepts and promotions to attract and retain customers
• Create innovative menus that cater to different dietary requirements while incorporating seasonal ingredients
• Monitor food costs, waste management, and portion control to maximize profitability
• Foster a positive work environment by providing leadership, guidance, and motivation to the team

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a reputable establishment
• Extensive knowledge of international cuisine with a focus on Middle Eastern flavors preferred
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (Arabic is a plus)
• Ability to lead a team under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts is preferred
