Qualifications

• Proven experience in a sales analysis, business analysis, or a similar analytical role, preferably within the FMCG sector.
• A bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data modelling.
• Experience with CRM systems and data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is highly advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
• A proactive and self-motivated individual who can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Analyse sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for growth across different product categories and customer segments.
• Develop and maintain regular sales reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for senior management and the sales team.
• Monitor and evaluate sales performance against targets, providing detailed variance analysis and commentary.
• Support the sales team with data-driven insights to optimize sales strategies and improve efficiency.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to provide a comprehensive view of the market landscape.
• Assist in the development of sales forecasts, annual budgets, and strategic planning processes.
• Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and finance departments to ensure alignment and support cross-functional initiatives.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all sales reporting systems.
