Job summary

Advanced Search is seeking a Recreational Services Supervisor to support hotel operations and guest experiences in a luxury property. You will assist supervisors with management issues, coordinate Heartist development, and ensure VIP guest satisfaction while maintaining asset warranties and service agreements.

The role involves inventory management, scheduling, and coordinating promotions, with a focus on guest needs and high service standards.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in a 5-star hotel.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
• Highly responsible and reliable.
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervisors with management issues and Heartist development.
• Attend professional conferences and professional development seminars.
• Accommodate VIP guest preferences and special requests.
• Maintain warrantees and service agreements on all equipment, work with engineering to resolve any malfunctions and initiate repair.
• Review hotel occupancy forecasts and recreation schedules.
• Assist with guest relations and scheduling when necessary.
• Handle emergency situations with urgency and discretion.
• Assign job tasks to recreation personnel as suited to their position and ability.
• Implement and ensure correct records of all recreation promotions, analyze the results, and establish action plans to improve marketing strategy.
• Check that all areas of the recreation are set as per the standard operating manual.
• Evaluate operations and procedures and implement improvements.
• Ensure that inventories are conducted regularly and accurately for all retail, professional products and expendable items.
• Efficiently manage retail inventories and stock keeping units movement.
• Generate monthly and quarterly performance projections by stock keeping units as well as promotional activities.
• Address all damages and repairs.
• Maintain a clean and well organized back stock area.
• Maximize inventory turns on all stock keeping units.
