Job summary

Westin Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Recreation Attendant in Manama, Bahrain. You will support all recreation activities across pools, beach, fitness, and event spaces, ensuring a welcoming guest experience and safe operations.

Responsibilities include guiding guests, scheduling activities, processing rentals, and assisting with private events. A calm demeanor, strong customer service, and CPR/First Aid certification are required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: No related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: CPR Certification
• First Aid Certification
• Recreation Equipment
• Any certification or training required by local and state agencies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key resource for all recreation activities on the property.
• Provide information to guests about available recreation facilities (pools, beach, entertainment zone, fitness center, child activities).
• Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests to participate in recreation activities.
• Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests.
• Observe activity and respond to emergencies per local procedures.
• Provide cashier services where POS is used.
• Assist with private functions and events in recreation facilities.
