Role Summary
Amalfi Foods is looking for a proactive, energetic, and technology-savvy Operations Executive to support the company’s daily operational and administrative activities.
The ideal candidate should be highly organized, flexible, comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and familiar with Bahrain’s government procedures. This is a hands-on role requiring initiative, strong follow-up, and the ability to coordinate effectively between internal departments, suppliers, service providers, and government authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and follow up on daily operational requirements across the company and factory.
- Coordinate between Operations, Production, HR, Finance, Procurement, Sales, Quality, and other departments.
- Maintain operational trackers, action lists, deadlines, and management reports.
- Follow up on management instructions and ensure tasks are completed on time.
- Prepare reports, presentations, correspondence, and operational documentation.
- Manage and follow up on government procedures, applications, renewals, and approvals.
- Liaise with relevant authorities and platforms, including LMRA, SIO, MOIC/Sijilat, Tamkeen, municipalities, Civil Defence, and other government entities.
- Monitor commercial registrations, licences, permits, employee documentation, and renewal deadlines.
- Support visa, work permit, employee onboarding, and administrative procedures in coordination with HR.
- Assist with supplier sourcing, quotations, purchase follow-ups, and service-provider coordination.
- Support factory projects, machinery-related follow-ups, maintenance requirements, and operational improvements.
- Use technology and digital tools to improve reporting, communication, document control, and workflow efficiency.
- Identify operational issues early and proactively recommend practical solutions.
- Handle urgent assignments and changing priorities with flexibility and professionalism.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling company, employee, and management information.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- At least 2–4 years of experience in operations, administration, government relations, or a similar role.
- Good knowledge of Bahrain’s government procedures, systems, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong computer and digital skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, cloud-based platforms, and task-management systems.
- Comfortable learning and using ERP systems, automation tools, and AI applications.
- Excellent organization, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
- Active, resourceful, and willing to take ownership of assignments.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is highly preferred.
- Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, or an industrial environment is an advantage.
- Valid Bahrain driving licence is preferred.
