Job summary

Qureos Inc is seeking a Facilities & HSE Officer – Automotive to oversee daily maintenance, security, and environmental health and safety compliance across automotive facilities including showrooms, service workshops, body shops, and spare parts warehouses.

The role ensures uptime of HVAC and shop equipment, hazardous material handling, and safety audits, with focus on a safe, compliant workplace for technicians, staff, and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field with focus on mechanical or electrical systems.
• NEBOSH IGC or OSHA 30-hour certification is required.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
• 5–7 years of hands-on property maintenance, contractor oversight, and health & safety enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational, structural, and infrastructure issues across premises.
• Conduct inspections and manage mechanical, electrical, and civil works.
• Process approvals for civil, mechanical, and electrical requests before execution.
• Inspect life-safety and security systems (CCTV, fire alarms, sprinklers) for readiness.
• Coordinate with external fire safety contractors for timely rectification.
• Develop and test contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
• Oversee multi-site projects with Group HSE & Admin to minimize impact on operations.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure contractual standards are met.
• Negotiate terms to secure cost efficiency and quality.
• Evaluate supplier performance across divisions; ensure compliance.
• Supervise fire protection contractors and ensure AMC renewals.
• Manage disposal of scrap materials through appropriate approvals.
• Supervise security staff and maintenance/janitorial teams across sites.
• Enforce cleaning and brand standards; arrange logistics for new hires.
