Job summary

Alzayani Investments seeks a Facilities & HSE Officer – Automotive to oversee daily maintenance, safety compliance, and security across showrooms, service workshops, and warehouses. You will manage uptime of HVAC and shop equipment, hazardous materials, and life-safety systems, while coordinating with contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure a safe, compliant, and efficient workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical), Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) or related field.
• NEBOSH IGC or OSHA 30-hour certification; First Aid/CPR and Fire Warden certifications.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
• 5–7 years of hands-on experience in property maintenance, contractor oversight, and HSE enforcement in corporate or automotive multi-site settings.
• Knowledge of civil, electrical, mechanical infrastructure; life-safety systems; hazardous material management and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and resolve operational, structural, and infrastructure issues across company premises.
• Inspect properties to identify defects, manage mechanical, electrical, and civil works requested by General Managers.
• Process approvals for civil, mechanical, and electrical requests before execution.
• Inspect and maintain life-safety and security systems (CCTV, fire alarms, sprinklers).
• Liaise with fire safety contractors for rectification of issues.
• Develop and test contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
• Coordinate with Group HSE & Admin for multi-site projects without disrupting operations.
• Coordinate with external suppliers and contractors to ensure contractual standards are met.
• Negotiate service terms for cost efficiency and quality.
• Conduct supplier evaluations and oversee AMCs renewal.
• Manage disposal and sale of scrap materials via commercial approvals.
• Supervise security personnel and maintenance/janitorial staff across sites.
• Enforce cleanliness and brand standards; arrange logistics for new hires.
• Ensure compliance with local HSE laws and internal protocols.
• Maintain records of incidents and lead investigations as directed.
• Attend executive meetings and execute special projects as required.
