Job summary

Burj Line Builders is seeking a Facilities & HSE Officer – Automotive to oversee daily maintenance, security, and environmental health and safety compliance across multiple automotive facilities. You will manage uptime, HVAC, hazardous materials, and safety audits to keep technicians, showroom staff, and customers safe and compliant.

The role requires a engineering/EHS background with 5–7 years’ experience, NEBOSH/OSHA certification, and knowledge of ISO 14001/45001.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or EHS.
• NEBOSH IGC or OSHA 30-hour certification required; First Aid/CPR and Fire Warden certifications.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
• 5–7 years of hands-on property maintenance, contractor oversight, and health & safety enforcement.
• Strong knowledge of civil, electrical, and mechanical infrastructure; life-safety systems expertise.
• Experience evaluating contractors and negotiating SLAs for cost efficiency.
• Proven ability to lead operations, security, and onboarding logistics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and resolve operational, structural, and infrastructure issues across premises.
• Inspect properties to identify defects and manage mechanical, electrical, and civil works.
• Process approvals for civil, mechanical, electrical requests before execution.
• Maintain life-safety system readiness: CCTV, alarms, sprinklers, detectors.
• Liaise with fire safety contractors for rectification of issues.
• Develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions and ensure continuity.
• Coordinate multi-site projects with Group HSE & Admin to avoid disruption.
