This role manages facility uptime, HVAC and shop equipment operations, hazardous material storage, workshop environmental compliance, and safety auditing. The primary objective is to maintain a high-standard, operational, safe, and fully compliant workplace for technicians, showroom staff, and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct frequent physical inspections of properties to identify operational defects, managing and executing mechanical, electrical, and civil works requested by General Managers.

  • Analyze, scope, and process approvals for civil, mechanical, and electrical requests across divisions before execution.

  • Inspect, maintain, and ensure the full operational readiness of all life-safety and security systems, including CCTV, fire alarms, fire hose reels, smoke sensors, heat detectors, and water sprinklers.

  • Identify technical issues with life-safety equipment and liaise with specialized fire safety contractors (such as Alpha Fire Co. or Gulf Services Co.) for prompt rectification.

  • Coordinate with Group HSE & Admin personnel to oversee concurrent multi-site projects and vendor activities without interrupting core business operations.

  • Coordinate with all external suppliers, contractors, and service providers to ensure deliverables meet contractual standards and organizational requirements.

  • Negotiate service terms with contractors, maintenance firms, and suppliers to secure competitive pricing, high quality, and economies of scale.

  • Conduct timely supplier evaluations for all maintenance service providers across divisions to ensure performance compliance.

  • Supervise fire protection contractors, verifying that all works comply with approved technical specifications and that Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) are renewed on schedule.

  • Manage the commercial approval process and legal formalities for the disposal and sale of scrap materials.

  • Supervise security personnel across all corporate sites to ensure property protection and access control.

  • Manage direct line supervision over maintenance and janitorial staff across company properties.

  • Enforce cleaning, hygiene, and aesthetic standards across all premises to maintain corporate brand uniformity.

  • Provision and arrange all necessary logistical support, office furniture, and workstations for new hires based on HR notifications and department requirements.

  • Ensure full organizational compliance with all local HSE laws, regulatory standards, and internal safety protocols.

  • Maintain comprehensive records of all workplace HSE incidents, forwarding detailed accident and near-miss reports to the Division General Manager, Group HR & Admin Manager, and Division HR.

  • Lead incident investigations as directed by leadership, conducting root-cause analyses and issuing corrective action plans.

  • Attend monthly executive management meetings, representing administrative operations and resolving department-specific challenges.

  • Execute special projects, strategic assignments, and operational tasks directed by the Managing Director, General Manager, or Group HR & Admin Manager.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical), Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), or related technical fields.

  • NEBOSH IGC or OSHA 30-hour certification required. Valid First Aid/CPR and Fire Warden certifications.

  • Familiarity with ISO 14001 (Environmental) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) standards.

  • 5–7 years of hands‑on experience in property maintenance, contractor oversight, and health & safety enforcement in corporate, commercial, or automotive multi‑site settings.

  • Sound knowledge of civil, electrical, and mechanical infrastructure; expertise in life‑safety systems (CCTV, fire alarms, sprinklers); proficiency in hazardous material/waste management and risk assessments (JSA).

  • Proven track record in evaluating contractors, negotiating SLAs for cost efficiency, overseeing cleaning/security operations, and coordinating office onboarding logistics.
