Job summary

Explore more jobs is seeking a Quantity Surveyor – Mechanical in Bahrain to provide technical and commercial support during the pre-contract tendering stage. You will handle quantity take-offs for Plumbing, Drainage, HVAC, and Mechanical Infrastructure, coordinating supplier and subcontractor enquiries and supporting competitive tender submissions.

The candidate should have a Mechanical Engineering degree (Bachelor's or Diploma), at least 2 years in mechanical QS/estimation, and be proficient in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 2 years in mechanical quantity surveying, estimation, or tendering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with PlanSwift/Bluebeam and Excel.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantity take-offs from drawings for mechanical systems.
• Prepare and issue RFQs to suppliers and subcontractors.
• Review quotations for compliance with specifications and tender requirements.
• Assist in BOQ preparation and cost estimates.
• Support tender submissions and pricing.
• Coordinate with estimation team to ensure timely tender documentation.
