Job summary

Arabian International Contracting Co. WLL is seeking a Maintenance Manager with 10+ years of experience to lead our equipment maintenance across Bahrain and GCC sites.

You will own the fleet, supervise technicians, plan preventive maintenance, manage spare parts, and ensure health, safety, and quality standards while coordinating with project sites and workshops.

Qualifications

• Graduate or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• At least 10 years in maintenance of construction equipment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Own all company equipment and maintain accurate records.
• Issue equipment to project sites and track usage.
• Plan and schedule annual and monthly maintenance.
• Supervise Mechanical and Electrical Technicians.
• Train operators on routine maintenance and proper equipment care.
• Coordinate with sites and workshop for regular maintenance.
• Maintain adequate stock of spare parts and ensure availability.

Qualification

Experience

10 Years in Maintenance of Construction Equipment

Key Responsibilities

• Take overall ownership and responsibility for all company equipment, including welding machines, workshop machinery, hydraulic presses, shearing machines, plate bending machines, CNC plasma cutting machines, O/H cranes, compressors, diesel generators, forklifts, mobile cranes, vehicles (trucks and pickups), tools, and other equipment.
• Manage the issuance of equipment to various project sites and maintain accurate records of all machines.
• Plan and schedule annual and monthly maintenance for all types of equipment.
• Manage and supervise a team of Mechanical and Electrical Technicians.
• Train equipment operators on routine maintenance and proper equipment care.
• Coordinate with project sites and the workshop to ensure regular electrical and mechanical maintenance of site equipment.
• Maintain adequate stock of spare parts and ensure availability as required.
• Prepare and manage the annual equipment maintenance budget.

Requirements

• Prior experience in heavy industrial projects will be considered an advantage.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to Health, Safety, Quality, and Client Satisfaction.
• Possess strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Preference will be given to candidates who can join immediately or have a shorter notice period.
• Be willing to work across Bahrain and other GCC locations, as required.
