Job summary

VivaVibe Productions in Bahrain seeks an experienced Pastry Chef to craft exquisite desserts and pastries for a high-end restaurant in Dar Kulaib. You will develop new menus, design specialty cakes for events, and uphold quality and consistency across all pastry offerings.

The ideal candidate has prior pastry chef experience, strong execution skills, and a passion for visually stunning creations. Weekend/evening shifts are required in a fast-paced upscale setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role.
• Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative flair and passion for visually appealing desserts.
• Attention to detail with excellent time management skills.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays and evenings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods per recipes and standards.
• Develop new menu items based on seasonal ingredients and trends.
• Create custom cakes for weddings, birthdays, and events.
• Oversee pastry inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Train and supervise junior pastry staff members.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the pastry station.
• Collaborate with other chefs to ensure timely service of all dishes.
• Maintain knowledge of current food trends and techniques.
