We are seeking a talented and experienced Pastry Chef to join our high-end restaurant located in Dar Kulaib, Bahrain. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods that will leave our customers satisfied and coming back for more. Your creativity and attention to detail will be key in developing new dessert menus and maintaining the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and create a wide range of desserts, pastries, and baked goods
• Develop new dessert menus that align with the restaurant's concept and vision
• Ensure all food items are prepared according to recipes and presentation standards
• Train and manage a team of pastry assistants
• Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients
• Monitor food cost control measures to maintain profitability

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or bakery
• Knowledge of various pastry techniques and recipes
• Creativity in developing new dessert ideas while also able to follow existing recipes accurately
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and manage a team effectively
• Ability to maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area

Salary: $1700 per month (tax-free) plus benefits such as accommodation, transportation, medical insurance, and annual vacation.
