Job summary

Dar Kulaib Bakery in Bahrain is seeking a seasoned Pastry Chef to lead pastry production, create high-quality desserts, and supervise kitchen staff. You will manage ingredients and ensure beautiful, tasty outcomes.

Responsibilities include developing new recipes, maintaining existing pastry quality, and coordinating with colleagues for events while keeping costs in check and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of pastry chef experience in high-volume settings.
• Culinary degree or certification in Baking/Pastry Arts preferred.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, equipment and safety.

Responsibilities

• Create and prepare pastries, cakes and desserts.
• Develop new recipes and maintain quality of existing ones.
• Manage inventory and orders for pastry ingredients.
• Supervise pastry and kitchen staff to ensure efficient production.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen following health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan menus for events.
• Seek ways to improve pastry quality while controlling costs.
