Job summary

Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea & Spa is seeking an experienced Lobby Lounge Manager to oversee Macaron, the hotel’s lobby lounge. You will lead daily operations, ensure luxury service standards, and drive revenue while maintaining the lounge’s ambience.

The ideal candidate holds a Hospitality Management degree and 3–5 years of F&B luxury-hotel experience, with strong leadership and budgeting skills. This full-time role requires flexibility for weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant Food & Beverage experience in luxury hotels, including managerial responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, lounge operations, and guest relations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of outlet budgeting, cost control, inventory management, and revenue generation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with restaurant POS systems.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of Macaron, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Deliver personalized guest experiences in line with Sofitel's luxury service standards.
• Lead, coach, and develop the team to maintain high service standards and strong product knowledge.
• Ensure consistent quality of food, beverages, presentation, and service delivery.
• Monitor outlet revenue, operating costs, inventory, and profitability.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels, duty rosters, and team productivity.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with Culinary, Stewarding, Front Office, and other departments for seamless operations.
• Conduct regular team briefings, training sessions, and performance reviews.
• Drive upselling initiatives and identify opportunities to increase revenue.
• Maintain the lounge's ambience, cleanliness, and presentation in line with luxury hospitality standards.
• Support hotel promotions, seasonal offerings, and special events to enhance guest engagement.
