Job summary

Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea & Spa is seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to lead hotel operations, drive business performance, and deliver exceptional luxury guest experiences. The role requires combining strong operational leadership with commercial acumen to ensure service excellence while maximising profitability and developing our Heartists.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years of Hotel Manager experience in a luxury 5‑star hotel or resort.
• Proven track record in revenue growth, GOP improvement, profitability, and business performance.
• Strong expertise in luxury operations, LQA standards, brand compliance, and guest experience.
• Excellent leadership skills in team development, Heartist engagement, and succession planning.
• Strong commercial acumen in strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and stakeholder management.
• Previous experience in the Middle East luxury hospitality market, preferably in Bahrain or the GCC region.
• Proven ability to manage operational challenges, drive continuous improvement, and maintain high standards of service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead hotel operations to deliver exceptional luxury guest experiences.
• Drive revenue growth and improve GOP while maintaining brand standards.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
• Develop Heartists and ensure strong succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with international luxury hospitality practices and standards.

The ideal candidate will combine strong operational leadership with commercial acumen, ensuring the highest standards of service while maximising profitability and developing our Heartists.

• Minimum 5-8 years of Hotel Manager experience in a luxury 5-star hotel or resort.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
