Job summary

Kempinski Hotels in Manama is seeking an IT Manager to lead the strategy, deployment, maintenance and security of the hotel’s technology infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and robust networks, including architecture for the pre-opening phase.

You will oversee core systems deployment (PMS, POS, RMS, guest Wi‑Fi, IPTV), manage budgets and vendor SLAs, and mentor staff, with fluency in business English and strong project management skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of IT leadership experience within a luxury hotel, with direct experience in pre-opening system implementations preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Network Engineering.
• Mastery of hospitality core systems (e.g., Opera PMS, Simphony POS, Cisco networking, Microsoft Server Environments, Firewall Management, and IPTV systems).
• Strong technical problem-solving, project management, communication skills, and fluent business English.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Opening Technology Deployment: Oversee the installation, configuration, testing, and integration of core hotel systems prior to launch.
• Systems Maintenance & Support: Ensure 24/7 stability, performance, and uptime across hardware, software, server environments, and networks.
• Data Security & Compliance: Implement cybersecurity, access controls, data backup, and disaster recovery per corporate and local regulations.
• Vendor & Budget Management: Manage IT vendor SLAs, software licensing, procurement contracts, and CapEx budgets.
• User Support & Training: Provide troubleshooting, manage helpdesk, and train staff on core systems and cybersecurity.
