Job summary

Limitless Recruitment is seeking a Head Chef for a Bahrain Mediterranean fine dining restaurant. The role requires GCC-based candidates with proven head chef experience in independent Mediterranean establishments.

You will lead and mentor a professional kitchen brigade, uphold exceptional culinary standards, manage food costing and HACCP compliance, and ensure quality in flavour, presentation, and dining experience in a busy, high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• Currently based in the GCC.
• Proven Head Chef experience in an independent Mediterranean fine dining restaurant.
• Strong leadership to lead, mentor and develop a professional kitchen brigade.
• Exceptional culinary standards with a focus on quality, flavour, presentation, consistency and attention to detail.
• Excellent knowledge of food costing, menu engineering, purchasing, stock and waste control.
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards.
• Able to stay calm, organised and effective in a busy, high-volume environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English plus one additional European language or Afrikaans is mandatory.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Currently based in the GCC
• Proven experience as a Head Chef within an independent Mediteranean Fine Dining Restaurant
• Strong background in Mediterranean cuisine
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead, motivate, mentor and develop a professional kitchen brigade
• Exceptional culinary standards and a strong eye for quality, flavour, presentation, consistency and attention to detail
• Excellent knowledge of food costing, menu engineering, purchasing, stock and inventory management and waste control
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards
• Able to remain calm, organised and effective in a busy, fast-paced and high-volume environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English plus one additional European language or Afrikaans is mandatory
