Qualifications

• 5+ years as Head Chef or Executive Chef in a fine-dining setting.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients and flavor profiles.
• Ability to design seasonal menus and accommodate dietary restrictions.
• Excellent leadership and people-management skills.
• Organizational skills for menu costing and ordering.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and kitchen procedures.

Are you a talented and experienced chef looking for an exciting new opportunity Our high-end restaurant in Manama is seeking a skilled Head Chef to lead our kitchen team As the Head Chef you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the kitchen from menu planning and food preparation to staff management and budget control

Responsibilities

• Create unique and innovative menus that reflect our restaurants concept and appeal to our clientele
• Oversee food preparation ensuring high quality and presentation standards are consistently met
• Train and manage kitchen staff providing guidance and support as needed
• Monitor inventory levels order supplies and maintain cost control measures to meet budget goals
• Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
• Collaborate with the restaurant manager to develop new ideas for promotions or events

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-end or fine dining establishment
• Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques ingredients and flavor profiles
• Ability to create unique menus that incorporate seasonal ingredients and cater to dietary restrictions
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in menu planning costing ordering etc
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and experience implementing proper procedures in a commercial kitchen setting

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a chef in a high-end restaurant setting
• Fluent in English additional languages considered an asset
• Must be able to legally work in Manama

Salary 1400$ per month negotiable based on experience
