Job summary

Raffles Al Areen Palace Bahrain is seeking a GCC Sales Manager with a proven track record of exceeding targets in luxury hospitality. You will lead strategic sales initiatives in the GCC, identify new business opportunities, and nurture key accounts to strengthen partnerships globally.

Collaborating with marketing, you will design campaigns and promotions while maintaining the hotel’s premium image and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth in the GCC market.
• Identify and prospect new business opportunities within the GCC region
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and partners
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and initiatives
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of the competition
• Positively communicate the hotel image to existing and potential customer at all times
• Ensure that revenues and / or cost controls are maximized through proactive actions rather than reactive management
• Report on trends in the industry and local markets
• Maintain a calendar allowing you to meet all established deadlines and planned sales trips
• Maintain accurate information on all new and on-going leads and accounts, including solicitation efforts
• Establishes and sign contracts considering the official Rate Policy in co-ordination with the DOSM
• Special deals (out of guidelines and rate policy) must in any case be discussed, co-ordinated and approved prior to offer with the hotel’s management
• Be the one point contact from the Sales team with the external client he/she is dealing with and handle responsively any escalations relating to the concerned client
• Ensure that targets set by the hotel are met consistently
• Thoroughly familiarizes oneself with the Hotel’s emergency procedures and is in a state of preparedness for any emergency which may occur
• Be familiar with all related company documentation and especially with the relevant Operational Standards Manual for his/her field of responsibility
• Other duties as assigned.
