Job summary

Apex Group in Manama, Bahrain, is seeking an Account Manager Transfer Agency to act as a focused point of contact for fund investors, managers and internal teams. You will oversee AML/KYC processing, investor onboarding, share registry activities and related TA duties, ensuring timely and accurate communications and NAV publishing.

The role requires 5-7 years of experience, including 3+ years in Transfer Agency, with strong English skills and knowledge of AML/KYC laws.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience, with at least 3 years in Transfer Agency.
• Knowledge of AML/KYC laws per MENA regulators and Apex policies.
• Familiarity with Bermuda and BVI AML/KYC laws is advantageous.
• Experience with TA functions including AML/KYC, onboarding, share registry, and payments.
• Coordinate with operations/CRM teams to ensure task completion.
• Understand fund structures, NAV per share, and pricing to vendors.
• Understand fund accounting related to subscriptions and redemptions.
• Maintain relationships with FA teams and update TA activity for NAV.
• Strong written/spoken English; Arabic helpful; good email etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Working individually and as part of a team to cover funds as a knowledgeable point of contact for investors, fund managers and internal teams regarding fund documentation, investor registries and AML/KYC processing.
• Possess knowledge of AML/KYC laws and adhere to Apex policies and controls.
• Coordinate with operations and CRM teams to ensure tasks are completed.
• Understand fund structures and NAV per share to publish prices to pricing vendors.
• Basic understanding of fund accounting related to subscriptions, redemptions and distributions; ensure investor communications meet deadlines.
• Maintain knowledge of assigned funds, fund timelines, deal documentation and related processes.
• Participate in special projects including automation, enhanced controls and system testing.
