Job summary

Zain Bahrain’s fintech arm Bede is seeking a Finance Associate to support day-to-day financial operations, including reporting, budgeting, and compliance with IFRS, Shariah standards, and CBB rules. You will work across departments, vendors, regulators, and auditors in a fast-paced fintech environment.

The role focuses on accurate accounting in the ERP, month-end closing, and improving internal controls while ensuring regulatory alignment and timely financial insights for decision-makers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• ACCA, CPA, CMA or CFA qualifications are preferred.
• 0–2 years in finance operations with IFRS/CBB knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records in the ERP system.
• Support daily finance operations: AP, AR, bank reconciliations, journals, GL.
• Ensure timely month-end and quarter/year-end closing.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with auditors and regulators to ensure compliance.
• Prepare management reports and financial presentations.
