Zain Bahrain, through its fintech arm Bede, is seeking a Finance Associate to support daily financial operations and reporting. The role emphasizes accurate accounting, ERP-driven processes, and adherence to IFRS and CBB standards.

Based in Manama, the position offers growth in a dynamic fintech environment. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance with 0-2 years of experience and demonstrates strong analytical, organizational, and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, CMA, CFA) preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in finance operations; IFRS and CBB knowledge advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records in the ERP system.
• Handle accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, journal entries and GL activities.
• Support month-end and quarter/year-end closing for timely reporting.
• Prepare schedules for prepayments, accruals, payables and related analyses.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.
• Support internal/external audits with documentation and explanations.
