Job summary

Seapeak is seeking a Senior Safety Superintendent to serve as the terminal's principal safety focal point, guiding Operations and Maintenance on safety practices and risk management. You will oversee daily safety system use, inspections, drills, and training, and deputise for the HSSEQ Manager when required.

Qualifications

• Relevant safety qualification and demonstrable operational safety experience in oil and gas, LNG, marine terminals or a comparable high‑hazard operation.
• Experience applying permit to work, risk assessment, isolation, field verification, incident investigation and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Advise Operations and Maintenance on planned and live work with focus on site safety.
• Maintain regular onshore engagement and weekly offshore visits where possible.
• Lead safety inspections, record findings and drive corrective actions.
• Provide technical safety support for PTW, isolation, lockout/tagout, confined space and other controls.
• Coach staff and contractors; coordinate safety inductions and training.
