Job summary

Advanced Search is seeking a Head of Health Safety & Environment (HSE) to lead strategic HSE activities across a manufacturing facility in Bahrain. The role requires ensuring a strong safety culture, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in HSE performance.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in heavy industry, manage HSE teams, oversee audits, and drive incident investigation and preventive actions while promoting worker safety and environmental responsibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or safety/environmental field required.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent; additional diplomas preferred.
• Experience leading HSE programs in manufacturing or heavy industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HSE strategy, policies and annual objectives.
• Provide leadership to the HSE team and advise senior management.
• Drive Zero Harm culture and maintain HSE KPIs.
• Manage occupational health, safety and environmental programs.
• Lead audits, CAPA, RCA and regulatory submissions.
• Coordinate training plans and contractor HSE management.
• Ensure compliance with Bahrain regulations and ISO standards.
