Job summary

Flyper in Bahrain is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team and uphold the high standards of our fine-dining operation.

You will oversee all culinary activities, develop menus tailored to guest preferences and dietary needs, and manage inventory and food costs to ensure profitability while maintaining strict health code compliance. Strong leadership and English skills are essential, with Arabic proficiency preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Executive Chef or similar in fine dining.
• Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred.
• Strong leadership with a track record managing a diverse team.
• Knowledge of cooking techniques and cuisines.
• Ability to create new dishes while maintaining menu item consistency.
• Understanding of food cost control and inventory management.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring a high level of performance and teamwork
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen according to health code regulations
• Collaborate with management to plan special events or promotions

Requirements

Location: This position is based in Dar Kulaib. Candidates from other cities may be considered but must be willing to relocate.

Salary: Competitive salary of $1100 per month plus potential for bonuses based on performance.
