Job summary

Nass Group & Corporation is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to diagnose and repair faults in light and heavy vehicles, machinery, and workshop electrical systems. The role requires handling diagnostics, installation, and preventive maintenance to ensure safe operation.

You will read diagrams, use diagnostic tools, maintain records, and coordinate with a technical team to ensure quality repairs in a busy workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma or ITI Certificate in Electrical Engineering or Auto Electrical.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as Electrician or Auto Electrician.
• Experience with heavy equipment, commercial vehicles, or construction machinery preferred.
• GCC experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in light vehicles, heavy vehicles, construction equipment, and machinery.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, lighting circuits, batteries, alternators, starters, sensors, and control systems.
• Install and replace electrical components and accessories as required.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Use electrical testing instruments and diagnostic tools to identify faults and verify repairs.
• Assist in the maintenance of workshop electrical installations and equipment.
• Coordinate with mechanics, technicians, and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.
• Report major faults, spare parts requirements, and equipment issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping within the workshop.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in light vehicles, heavy vehicles, construction equipment, and machinery.

Qualifications & Experience

• Technical Diploma or ITI Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Auto Electrical, or a related trade.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrician or Auto Electrician.
• Experience with heavy equipment, commercial vehicles, or construction machinery is preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, batteries, charging systems, and diagnostic equipment.
• GCC experience is an advantage.
