Job summary

Nass Corporation is seeking an Electrical Draftsman to prepare, modify, and maintain electrical drawings, shop drawings, layouts, and related technical documentation for construction and engineering projects in Bahrain. You will ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and client requirements, while coordinating with engineers and clients on drawing needs and revisions.

The role requires a Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or drafting, at least 3 years

Qualifications

• Diploma or technical certificate in electrical drafting.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrical Draftsman.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and drafting software.
• Experience preparing electrical shop drawings and as-built drawings.
• GCC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, shop drawings, as-built drawings, and layouts using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
• Develop electrical plans for power distribution, lighting, earthing, cable routing, and ELV systems.
• Review engineering sketches, specifications, and design information to produce accurate technical drawings.
• Coordinate with engineers, project teams, consultants, and clients regarding drawing requirements and revisions.
• Prepare single-line diagrams (SLDs), schematic diagrams, panel layouts, and cable schedules.
• Revise drawings based on site conditions, design changes, and client comments.
• Maintain drawing registers and document control procedures.
• Prepare material take-offs and quantities from approved drawings as required.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specs, local regulations, and industry standards.
• Support project execution teams with technical drafting and documentation requirements.
• Assist in preparing submission packages for consultant and client approvals.
• Maintain up-to-date records of approved and revised drawings.
