Job summary

Nass Group & Corporation is looking for an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead a crew of electricians on site, ensuring work is safe, on time, and to the highest quality standards. You will read and interpret electrical drawings, coordinate with engineers and subcontractors, supervise installation, testing, and commissioning, and keep detailed progress and material records while enforcing HSE policies.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma/ITI/Trade Certificate in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
• At least 2 years in a Foreman or Team Leader role.
• Experience in construction, infrastructure, commercial, industrial, or street lighting projects.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and documents.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of electricians and technicians on site.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, schematics, and specifications.
• Ensure work complies with drawings, project requirements, and standards.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.

Job description

The Electrical Foreman is responsible for supervising and leading a team of electricians and electrical technicians in the installation, maintenance, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems. The role ensures that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of electricians and electrical technicians on site.
• Assign work tasks and ensure manpower is utilized effectively to meet project schedules.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, schematics, and specifications.
• Monitor electrical installation works including cable laying, cable termination, panel installation, lighting systems, power distribution systems, and control systems.
• Ensure work is performed according to approved drawings, project requirements, and electrical standards.
• Inspect completed work and rectify any deficiencies or non-conformities.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, subcontractors, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Maintain records of daily work progress, manpower allocation, and material usage.
• Ensure the availability of required tools, equipment, and materials on site.
• Monitor productivity and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Enforce company HSE policies and ensure all personnel follow safe work practices.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for work crews.
• Report work progress and site issues to the Electrical Supervisor.
