Qualifications

• Knowledge of baking techniques, including decorating with icing or fondant.
• Ability to create unique flavor combinations for pastries.
• Excellent time management.

Responsibilities

• Create new pastry recipes that are both delicious and visually appealing.
• Prepare and bake pastries, desserts, and other baked goods according to established standards.
• Decorate pastries using various icing techniques.
• Manage inventory levels of pastry ingredients and order supplies as needed.
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned regularly.
• Monitor the quality of all pastries leaving the kitchen.
• Train new pastry staff members on proper techniques and procedures.
• Collaborate with other chefs to develop new menu items or special event offerings.
