Job summary

A Construction Group in Manama, Bahrain is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee all contractual aspects of projects from tender to completion. The role requires handling change orders, ensuring compliance, and maintaining strong client/consultant relationships.

You will work closely with the Head of Operations and Commercial Manager, representing the company in meetings and protecting contractual rights across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in main contracting roles with 5+ years in a similar capacity.
• Strong knowledge of contracts used in Bahrain and GCC (FIDIC, MoW, lump sum, unit price).
• Structured approach to contract interpretation with ability to counter arguments both orally and in writing.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and organizational skills under pressure across multiple projects.
• Degree qualified; preferable further qualification in construction law or claims.
• Comfortable representing the company in meetings with clients and consultants.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all contractual aspects from tender to completion across projects.
• Liaise between clients, contractors and consultants to resolve issues and maintain agreements.
• Manage change/variation orders and monitor compliance with contract documents.
• Support Project Managers and attend progress review meetings with clients and consultants.
• Identify contractual risks and advise on contractual letters to protect the company.
