• Support the Marketing Manager with campaigns, pricing, and audience targeting.
• Assist in local advertising, promotions, events per quarterly plan and budget.
• Position the brand in the local market to optimize market share.
• Drive brand awareness, base expansion, and order frequency for SM activity.
• Build relationships with influencers and run monthly engagements.
• Develop a content calendar aligned with brand guidelines and marketing calendar.
• Edit and use UGC/EGC footage with basic video editing.
• Provide on-ground social coverage for events and activations.
• Identify trends on social media for brand exposure and local relevance.
• Monitor customer inquiries across platforms within 3 hours.
• Stay aware of trends/events to keep Talabat presence impactful.

Job Description

WHAT’S ON YOUR PLATE?

• The Associate Marketing is responsible for supporting the Marketing Manager with advertising campaigns, pricing strategies and targeting the demographic data of the target audience. Working with the wider marketing teams to achieve success through more brand awareness.
• Assist in managing local advertising, promotional campaigns and event management as per the department quarterly plan, brand guidelines and budget.
• Ensure that the company is well positioned as a brand in the local market and reaches the right audience to optimize market share.
• Ensuring that brand awareness, base expansion (acquisitions) and frequency (orders) is the focal result for any SM activity
• Identify and build relationships with the right set of Influencers in the market, with monthly engaging activities on an Influencer Base
• Develop a content calendar which suits the brand guidelines, and is aligned with the annual marketing calendar taking into consideration the seasonal, local and international occasions
• Ability to edit and take UGC & EGC footage with minor video and editing skills
• On Ground social coverage for events and activations ensuring to keep the content very relatable to the remixer audience
• Be able to identify new trends on social media that allows for brand exposure and local relevance
• Monitor response of customer inquiries and comments on all Social Media platforms within 3 hours
• Continuously be aware of the latest trends and events taking place and evaluate if and how Talabat brand can be impactful in its presence
