Job summary

Gulf Air is seeking a proactive Airside Operations professional to perform all aspects of airside activities, wildlife management, and emergency coordination. You will oversee parking stands, conduct FOD inspections, monitor vehicle movements, and ensure adherence to airside procedures across aprons, baggage makes up, and cargo areas.

The role involves supervising engine runs, VDGS support, and coordinating special parking for VIP or state aircraft where needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation or Business Administration is desirable.
• High school Diploma with 2 years of airport operations experience is acceptable.
• Strong knowledge of national and international civil aviation standards and recommended practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure airside operations and wildlife management responsibilities are conducted in line with policies and procedures.
• Inspect aprons, report FODs or anomalies during shift to Shift Leader - Airside Operations.
• Monitor vehicle movements and enforce airside speed limits; coordinate emergency responses as required.
• Provide marshalling, VDGS/Follow-Me support for aircraft parking and repositioning.
• Coordinate with APOC and BAS for timely and safe aircraft parking and stand inspections.

Education

Bachelor's degree desirable in Aviation or Business Administration

High school Diploma accepted with 2 years of experience
